As an integral part of the Ministry of Religious Affairs strategic plan encouraging the development of Indonesian universities to gain an international reputation, the government consistently facilitates the implementation of international cooperation programs. One of the flagship programs that have been started since 2010 is the Institutional Strengthening Program of the Office of International Affairs (PKKUI).
This program was prepared with the main aim of encouraging the number of universities that run higher education internationalization programs through the International Office or similar institutions and strengthen the management of such institutions.
